HISTORY OF STANTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Stanton Elementary School is named after one of Glendora's finest medical doctors, Elvin H.      Stanton. He took a keen interest in education and served on the Glendora Unified School District Board of Education for a number of years. His portrait hangs in the school office to remind us how important it is to be caring, achieving individuals.

Our school logo is The Eagle.  Stanton Eagles succeed in academics and enjoy a fun, safe learning environment.  Eagles are life-long learners who soar above the rest.

The school color is red.  Students and faculty proudly wear red each Friday. One day a month is designated as “Spirit Day”.  Special Stanton T-shirts are available for purchase and everyone is encouraged to wear these shirts on Fridays and “Spirit Day".

Stanton School is a high achieving, friendly place where learning is fun, exciting, and challenging.
